Each gallery contains boards relating to the dates in the headings. These will include school results, university placements and degrees attained so your A level results may be in a different gallery to your degree success. Also, some of the boards contain names from widely spaced years. In two instances I have duplicated the photo to appear in two galleries but if you can't find yourself where you expect to be, have a browse through the others. We are not sure whether any boards were totally destroyed but it is possible. However, we are delighted to say that the apparently "destroyed" board relating to the 1963 class reunion was found in the portacabin!
HONOURS BOARDS
The lighting in the entrance hall is not really ideal for photography, and flash made things worse so I didn't use it but there is inevitably some glare. I've tried to move around it while taking the photos. The rain effect on a few was the result of light from a textured window that we were unable to block. Hopefully the names are still readable. I also suffered a bit of camera shake in one or two and didn't notice until I loaded the pics onto my PC - my apologies if yours is one of the fuzzy names.
Owing to a new 'office' which has been built in one corner of the entrance hall, some of the boards are obscured by walls,
shelves and cupboards but I've done my best. One even has a TV screwed over the top of it :(

THE GALLERIES:
THE GALLERIES:
I am experimenting with a new style gallery which allows you to move through the photos with the click of an arrow or by clicking individual thumbnails. There are nearly 100 large file size photographs in these galleries so I have split them into sub-pages and they will still take a while to load. Please be patient.
If the gallery image looks strange at first, just click one of the other thumbnails under the main photo. It should right itself.
The disadvantage is that the pictures don't enlarge as much as the pop-up style gallery. You can right click them and open in a new tab but for some reason most of them rotate into landscape layout. They did this in the pop-up style I tried too. However, these photos are not copyright so you can right click them and save to your own PC for viewing at your leisure. The file sizes are big enough for most purposes.
